A&M vs Missouri

Saturday, Nov. 15th at 6:30 PM

Gameday Host: David Jacobs

Last week our Fightin’ Texas Aggies traveled to “The Loveliest Village On The Plains” and strolled out with a 41-38 victory over the #3-ranked War Eagle Tigers of Auburn University aka East Alabama Male College.  The Fighting Malzahns ran out of luck, fumbling twice on back-to-back possessions inside the Aggie’s side of the field inside the last 3 minutes of the game.  The Aggies extended their record over the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama to 4-1.

This week, our CFP #24-ranked Fightin' Texas Aggies host the unranked Tigers of the University of Missouri for the 4th time in the last 5 years, in the second of three games against teams with a Tiger mascot.  This is the 10th visit to The Home of the 12th Man by Hello Kitty and the 15th overall contest between the two teams.  The Ags currently hold an 8-6 record against the “Show Me” Staters, with the Fighting Pinkels taking 4 out of the last five and the last two at Kyle Field.   Last week, the 7-2 Tigers eked out a narrow 87-86 victory over Idle, following a 20-10 victory over the 5-5 Wildcats of Kentucky, the week before.  A win in the Hate Barn would help the Meow Kitties get closer to representing the SEC East and losing in the SEC Championship Game.  The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Football Team intend to defend the home turf, end the Mound Kitties SEC Championship hopes and send them home with their tail between their legs.

The Aggies are averaging 482.2 yards of total offense, with 152.6 yards rushing, 329.6 yards passing, and 36.9 points per game.  The Fighting Pinkels are averaging 330.1 yards of total offense, with 159.9 yards rushing, 170.2 yards passing, and 28.8 points per game.  Defensively, the Aggies are allowing 431.0 yards per game, 196.3 yards rushing, 234.7 yards passing and 27.1 points per game.  While the Tigers are allowing 340.6 yards of offense, 134.7 yards rushing, 205.9 yards passing and 19.3 points per game.
