FOCUS Registration 2016-2017
You MUST log in using your TAMU email address (NetID) and will only be able to submit the form once. If you have updates after you submitted, please send them to focus@tamu.edu.

Freshmen from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (AG), College of Science Department of Biology (SC), College of Veterinary Medicine (VM), College of Liberal Arts (LA), College of Engineering, the Health Science Center School of Public Health (PH) and General Studies participate in FOCUS to fulfill first year Regents' Scholarship requirements.*

Students enroll in a FOCUS section of UGST 181 Learning Communities (S/U, zero credit hours, no fees), and meet program requirements such as participating in the Kick-Off and Orientation before fall semester, meeting with a peer Community Leader regularly, attending Large Community Meetings monthly, and engaging in specified enrichment activities throughout the year. Students may choose to take a reserved core curriculum course in a small 25-student section or to apply for a themed track offering additional opportunities.

Please complete this registration by January 10, 2017. Please address any questions about this form or the program to focus@tamu.edu.

*Students who are not Regents' Scholars or who are majoring in other colleges may request to participate in FOCUS; to be considered, please indicate why you wish to join in the "What does the FOCUS Staff need to know about you" section.
