If you said yes to any of these, then take the next step towards entrepreneurship and apply for the Sharon and Fred Hudspeth ‘61 Scholarship.
- Applicant must exhibit financial need.
- Applicant must have achieved at least senior level classification (completed 90 credit hours) by Fall 2024.
- Applicant must have demonstrated an interest and aptitude for starting their own business and/or becoming an entrepreneur.
APPLICATION WINDOW
The Sharon and Fred Hudspeth ’61 Scholarship in Entrepreneurship applications for the 2024-25 academic year will open Nov. 1 and close Feb. 1, 2024.
2024 – 2025
The Sharon and Fred Hudspeth ’61 Scholarship in Entrepreneurship is managed through the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship. Recipients are awarded $1,000 per academic year.

- Resume must be uploaded with application. Be sure to include work experience, extra-curricular activities, honors and awards achieved, and leadership roles.
- Highlight entrepreneurial activities.
All applications will be reviewed and processed by the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship.
