The Sharon and Fred Hudspeth ’61 Scholarship in Entrepreneurship is managed through the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship. Recipients are awarded $1,000 per academic year.

Eligibility
  • Applicant must exhibit financial need.
  • Applicant must have achieved at least senior level classification (completed 90 credit hours) by Fall 2024.
  • Applicant must have demonstrated an interest and aptitude for starting their own business and/or becoming an entrepreneur.

APPLICATION WINDOW

The Sharon and Fred Hudspeth ’61 Scholarship in Entrepreneurship applications for the 2024-25 academic year will open Nov. 1 and close Feb. 1, 2024.

Applications for the 2024-2025 academic year will be open Nov. 1, 2023 – Feb. 1, 2024.

The Sharon and Fred Hudspeth ’61 Scholarship in Entrepreneurship is managed through the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship. Recipients are awarded $1,000 per academic year.

  • Please complete the application form linked above.
  • Resume must be uploaded with application. Be sure to include work experience, extra-curricular activities, honors and awards achieved, and leadership roles.
  • Highlight entrepreneurial activities.
Selection Process

All applications will be reviewed and processed by the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship.
