MnM Sphere: Registration Form
This event is being hosted as a part of 2021 Domestic Violence Prevention & Awareness Month at Texas A&M University, which is organized by Health Promotion in the Offices of the Dean of Student Life. We appreciate your interest in participating.

Event Description: It has long since been accepted in our society that male-identified individuals are able to continue unhealthy behavior or explain away harmful actions towards others, particularly women. As the number of domestic violence cases increased during the pandemic, the importance and necessity of improving and fostering healthier relationship dynamics and calling out these negative behaviors out has become increasingly apparent. Join our conversation as we explore what makes a relationship healthy, while also addressing evidence-based concepts that have been strongly linked to men’s experience with unhealthy or abusive relationships: systemic power dynamics, communication patterns, and substance use. Our conversation will focus on the intersection of these public health issues through the topics of men causing harm, men receiving harm, bystander intervention, and creating new norms on campus.
