Campus Muster Criteria

A current student is defined as an individual who is enrolled at Texas A&M at the time of their passing. Current students are honored here because their peers, classmates, and community will be present on campus the Day of Muster.

Service men and women, in their honorable commitment to serve our country in the armed services, willingly relinquish ties to their hometowns. However, in a profound acknowledgment of our illustrious military history, they find their Aggie community deeply rooted in Texas A&M, which serves as their enduring hometown.

The campus community relies significantly on the direct interactions between faculty and staff and current students, underscoring the vital role they play. We take pride in recognizing individuals who actively contribute to the campus experience, as they substantially shape the overall composition of the current campus community. In this spirit, the Campus Muster Ceremony honors Texas A&M Professors who have been granted Emeritus status.

In order to allow students to participate in a Muster Ceremony without having to leave their campus community, we extend recognition to immediate family members of students currently enrolled at Texas A&M University College Station Campus during the Muster event.

Immediate family member is defined as parent, grandparent, sibling, or spouse.

A significant milestone in a former student’s enduring connection with their class and Texas A&M is marked by a reunion held 50 years after graduation. This initiative encourages classmates to come together and reconnect with their past campus community in College Station while also fostering engagement with the current Aggieland community. The celebration for the 50th Year Reunion Class takes place on the Texas A&M College Station campus every April 21st, and as part of this meaningful gathering, we host their Aggie Muster concurrently with our campus Muster.

We Are Here To Serve You

Our criteria is upheld in every case to fairly serve the qualified honorees, as denoted by our school’s core belief that every single Aggie, independent of lifestyle or status, will always be remembered by their community. There are over 300 Muster Locations worldwide. We believe that every muster is important and no one is more prestigious than another. The Campus Muster Ceremony strives to serve those recently associated with the College Station campus.
