Rec Sports Free Weeks | Schedule of Events

Monday, Jan. 8 – Thursday, Feb. 1

Beginning the first week of school, Rec Sports will offer Free Weeks, where you can start your recreation routine at no cost! During the first two weeks of the semester, various program areas will be hosting their classes for free! Stop by one of our free programs for a chance to win free swag and more! Free week options and events are only available to Rec Sports members.

Jan. 8 - 22: Intramural Play Pass Giveaway

Take the intramural leagues by storm this semester! Anyone who purchases an Unlimited Play Pass between January 8 and January 22 will be entered into a drawing for their Play Pass to be reimbursed. Step into the intramural leagues this semester; you could be the lucky winner!

Jan. 17 - 22: All Group RecXercise Classes are FREE

Group RecXercise Free Week

All Group RecXercise classes at Rec Sports will be free between January 16 and January 21. With Group RecXercise, you can add new workouts to your semester a la carte and at your convenience. Most classes are less than an hour long, giving you the flexibility you need!

Jan. 22 - 26: FREE Adult Learn-to-Swim Class

Dive into the new semester with Rec Sports Aquatics! For one week only, you can try out a guided swimming program to hone your skills in the pool. Classes will be hosted Monday through Thursday in the Student Rec Center.

Jan. 22 - 26: Specialty Class FREE WEEK

Specialty Fitness Free Week

Boxing and Pilates Reformer are back this semester! These five-week programs give you a new group of Aggies to meet outside of the classroom and come with a standard regimen that builds week over week!

Jan. 29 - Feb. 1: Small Group Training Classes FREE WEEK

Drop by the personal training suite at the Rec for Aggie Fit and Aggie Strong! These guided programs help you develop your training with a tight knit group of Aggies that you get to know over the course of five weeks.

As part of Free Weeks, members can try a variety of Rec Sports programs for free or at a discounted price! Classes include Learn-to-Swim, yoga, small group training, one-time climbs at our Indoor Climbing Facility, and more!

Rec Sports’ Free Weeks will be occurring the first few weeks of the spring semester!

Not necessarily, you have to be a Rec Sports member to participate. Members can sign up for programs through the Rec Sports app.
