Beekeeping 101 is an opportunity to learn all the basics to get started in beekeeping.
This course is geared for the beginner beekeeper - those with little to absolutely no knowledge. This course is very hands-on, with countless examples and opportunities to touch and handle the beekeeping equipment and bees.
You will receive a packet with:
beekeeping catalogs
factsheets
other useful literature
This course consists of a Classroom Portion (May 9, 2024) and an optional Field Day (May 10, 2024, morning or afternoon session).
Attendees MUST be ages 15 and upto participate in the field day.

Beekeeping suits and gloves are provided.
Must sign a waiver to participate in the field day.
