Texas
A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Lubbock County will offer the 6-week, in-person series, Step Up & Scale Down, beginning
January 9, 2024. This course will be offered on Tuesdays from 12-1 pm and focus on educating participants on the steps and behaviors to
implement in their everyday lives to move them towards a healthy weight.
Classes will include
weigh-ins, recipe demonstrations, a 20-30 minute lesson/group discussion or guest speaker, and a
weekly challenge. The cost for this course is $30 which will cover the cost
of the food, program materials, and weekly incentives. Since it is during the lunch hour, participants are
encouraged to BYOHL (Bring Your Own Healthy Lunch) to each class.

limited to 20 participants. Classes will be held in the
